Principal Susan Ruptash Featured in Architectural Record

On March 1, Susan Ruptash was featured in Architectural Record where she discussed the importance of universal design. Ruptash spoke to how universal design produces beautiful and effective designs that are inherently accessible rather than explicitly so.

“When universal design really works,” she said, “people don’t say, ‘Wow! This is accessible.’ They say, ‘Wow! This is fabulous.’

The article also highlights a number of outstanding universal design projects, including AccessAbility Advantage’s work on the Pan Am and Parapan Am Games facilities in Toronto.
